IT employee with broad and varied responsibilities
Do you want to be our focal point across many different IT tasks?
Do you have a broad interest in IT, and are you motivated by both solving technical challenges and helping your colleagues?
If you’re both curious and eager to constantly develop your skills, then you might be the person we’re looking for.
At HRS, IT is a central part of the company’s development. We’ve built a modern and stable IT platform and are now looking for a new colleague to help operate, maintain, and further develop our IT systems. We offer a varied workday with a high degree of autonomy, short decision-making paths, and excellent opportunities for both professional and personal growth.
Operation, Development, and Support of the Company's IT
Your new playground will be a modern IT platform where Microsoft 365 forms the foundation for collaboration and productivity. In addition, we handle server operations, virtualization, networking, backup, endpoint management, and IT security. Our IT infrastructure supports both traditional office functions and a range of specialized production systems, including Uniconta, SolidWorks, and software for our CNC machines. We continuously invest in new technologies and actively work to develop and modernize our IT landscape.
As the second member of the IT team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations and ongoing development of the company’s IT systems. Together, you will be responsible for ensuring a stable, secure, and well-functioning IT platform, while we continuously implement new solutions, optimize existing systems, and support the company’s continued growth.
Every day is different. One day you might be working on operations, infrastructure, or implementing new solutions, and the next you might be helping a colleague with support, troubleshooting, or setting up new equipment. It’s a short path from idea to action, and we value people who take responsibility, are curious, and are eager to contribute new ideas and improvements.
Your primary tasks will be to:
- Manage day-to-day IT operations and ensure a stable and secure IT platform.
- Provide support to your colleagues and assist with everything from troubleshooting to setting up new equipment.
Manage users, devices, and permissions across the company’s IT systems. - Maintain an overview of the company's hardware, software, and licenses, and participate in planning new acquisitions.
- Help strengthen the company's IT security through both technical solutions and employee training.
- Document solutions, processes, and changes so that our IT system remains well-documented and easy to maintain.
You’ll be based at our headquarters in Kalundborg, where you’ll be close to both our users and the company’s IT department. You’ll have the opportunity to work from home occasionally, when your tasks allow. In addition, you’ll visit our locations in Slagelse and Korsør as needed.
IT generalist eager to learn and grow
This job is for you if you enjoy helping others and have the patience to do so with a smile, even when your colleagues don’t share your level of IT knowledge or interest. Your broad range of responsibilities means you’ll need to be more of a generalist than a specialist, with the motivation to learn new things. At the same time, you’ll need to maintain a big-picture perspective and the drive to keep track of the overall master plan. In addition, your resume should include:
- Has experience with or an understanding of Windows Server and Microsoft-based infrastructure.
- Has knowledge of virtualization, such as Hyper-V, VMware, or Proxmox.
- Has a good understanding of Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Has a broad technical understanding of networks, clients, and server operations.
- Several years of experience in a support role with broad IT responsibilities.
We offer
- A workplace full of kind and helpful coworkers—it’s simply a nice place to be.
- Good introduction to our systems, programs etc.
- Cell phone.
- Regular training on new updates and features—a strong focus on your professional development.
- New, state-of-the-art facilities and meeting rooms.
- Bonus Program – 20% of the profit is shared directly with the employees (HRS has always turned a profit).
- Freedom and flexibility.
- An environment where good ideas are valued and heard.
- Lunch Program.
