3D printing

HRS plastteknik offers 3D printing in plastic.

The printed plastic can be used for prototypes, fixtures, models - or of course directly for production.

3D printing is a production method where the part is built from scratch - using many thin layers of plastic melted on top of each other.
We can produce plastic parts in almost any colour, and can run up to four colours in the same print.

We can print in: PLA, PETG, TPE - and materials with additives, such as stainless steel and carbon.

We use a Polysmoother to make the printed surfaces soft and smooth, - approximating the surfaces of injection moulded parts.

Don't hesitate to contact us if you want to know more about 3D plastic printing.

WHAT IS 3D PRINTING?

3D printing is an advanced manufacturing method where an object is built layer by layer using molten plastic or other materials. This process is similar to a computer-controlled glue gun that quickly applies a thin layer at a time. Once the first layer has hardened, the next one is added on top and gradually the final 3D object is formed. Depending on the complexity of the object, the process can take from minutes to hours.

We can produce 3D printed plastic parts in almost any color, and we can run up to four colors in the same print. In addition, we offer printing in materials such as:

  • PEEK
  • PLA
  • PETG
  • TPE

We also work with materials with additives such as stainless steel and carbon, making it possible to create stronger and more durable parts.
